This colored pencil drawing inspiration came from visiting an aviary with exotic birds. I was captivated by the intense colors of these cute little guys. They had a bunch of personality too!
I used color, texture, and contrast, letting the deep background push the birds and bloom forward. It felt special to draw this Australian native, something I'll probably never do in person.
