Print of Benagil Caves and Alfanzina Lighthouse in Lagos Portugal Watercolor Painting

This painting was inspired by seeing the Alfanzina Lighthouse and the Benagil caverns from a boat while traveling in Lagos, Portugal. The caverns and cliffs were amazing, awe inspiring so I just had to paint them.

I painted this from memory and photos back at our rental, focusing more on the feeling of being there than on perfect detail. The loose watercolor and bright turquoise colors   captured how alive and windswept the scene felt.

Each limited edition giclée is reproduced from my original watercolor painting using archival inks on premium 100% cotton rag paper.

I personally hand sign and number every print in pencil, and each one includes a Certificate of Authenticity. To keep these editions special, only a limited number of prints are available in each size. Once an edition sells out, it will not be reproduced.
