Print of Purple Petunia Watercolor Painting

This painting came from spending time really looking at the plants in my garden—the shapes of the leaves, the way the light moves across them, and that soft moment when a bloom is just beginning to open. I loved how the purples and greens layered together and felt calm and alive at the same time.

I painted this loosely, letting the watercolor do its thing, so the textures and colors could mix naturally. It’s less about a perfect flower and more about the feeling of being in the garden, slowing down, and noticing the small details.
